Scott Vanderhoef
President
Scott spent years working in the medical supply industry, helping people with special medical needs find relief from major diseases. In 2002, he realized there was a growing need to help seniors cope with the challenges of daily living. He felt there should be an alternative to nursing homes and assisted living centers. He founded Heaven at Home to help people get the assistance they need in their own homes. Scott married his best friend Lois and they have been married for over 20 years, and have two amazing children together. Scott enjoys traveling, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Stacy Franklin, LVN, CDP
Clinical Director
Stacy was born and raised in Denton, TX. Stacy graduated from nursing school in 2004 with her LVN license and is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). She has worked in all varieties of patient care settings, from private practice and skilled facilities to assisted living and home health. Stacy is the first point of contact with clients to assist them with their admission process. Once services have been established and the caregivers and clients have gotten into a routine, Stacy then oversees their care. She performs a reassessment and quality assurance visit at every client’s home on a regular basis to ensure that the client is receiving the best care possible.
Stacy is married to Russ, and they have three boys together. She enjoys hanging out with friends and loving on her dogs.
Amy Jones
Client Care Coordinator
With over 20 years of management experience in the banking industry, Amy brings a strong foundation in leadership, organization, and exceptional customer service to her role as Office Manager at Heaven at Home Senior Care. While newer to the senior care field, she is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment for both clients and their families. Her background in customer relations allows her to effectively support clients’ needs and build meaningful connections within the community.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremy, and their four children. She also loves caring for her dogs, who are an important part of her family. Her commitment to family and connection carries over into her work, where she strives to make every client feel valued and at home.
Collette Parker, MBA, CLTC
Community Liaison
Collette brings both heart and experience to Heaven at Home. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Texas Women's University while playing on the university's inaugural soccer team and later completed her MBA at Florida International University. After more than 20 years in the food and beverage industry, Collette felt called to a more purpose-driven path. A natural relationship-builder, Collette serves as the face of Heaven at Home in the community, providing trusted education and meaningful support to clients and families. Her warmth, joy, and authenticity help people feel comfortable and confident during every interaction.
Outside of work, Collette enjoys spending time with Leo, Heaven at Home's Chief Smiles Officer, volunteering, and being outdoors with family and friends.
Michelle Wheeler
Staff Coordinator
Michelle brings over 30 years of healthcare experience, 26 of which was as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. After being at the bedside for most of her career she has developed a love for the senior community. She brings a caring heart for everyone she interacts with to our team, which helps her to build meaningful relationships between caregivers and clients.
Outside of work, Michelle loves spending time with her family. She has 2 sons and 4 grandchildren who are her world. Michelle also enjoys gardening, fishing and doing crafts.
Leo Parker
Chief Smiles Officer
Leo's best good boy life began right here in Denton at the Linda McNatt Animal Shelter where he met and adopted Collette in 2023. Leo loves making new friends and bringing SMILES to our loved ones in the community. You can find him around town hosting paint and sips or trading high-fives for treats.
Outside of work...wait...he's a border collie, is there really such a thing? Leo enjoys very long games of fetch, camping with his family, and stalking squirrels. Leo does not enjoy toys that squeak.
